UglyLovely Terms and Conditions
For commissioned and bespoke pieces:
• Pieces can be based on the existing collections or can be made in collaboration with the client.
• A deposit of 50% will be taken at the time of order. This is non-refundable and will be deducted from the agreed purchase price of the headpiece.
• Purchased pieces cannot be returned. There is no return policy. In the unlikely event that a piece is found faulty we’ll cover all the costs involved in returning it.
• The price agreed at the time of order is based on the specifications of the client at that time. If these specifications change and additional materials, embellishment and/or work are required, the price of the headpiece will increase in accordance with the added materials and time taken on the headpiece.
• Although UglyLovely has an extensive range of fabric and embellishments, if a client requires specific materials, they are asked to bring them to the first consultation.
• If a client requires UglyLovely to source specific materials and embellishments, a sourcing fee will be charged at £20 pounds per hour.
• Although it is preferable for consultations to take place at UglyLovely's studio, if this is not possible, Sahar is able to visit clients in their homes or offices if arranged in advance. The hourly rate for external consultations is £40 an hour with a minimum charge of £30.
• For overseas clients wishing to purchase a bespoke headpiece, or clients unable to make fitting appointments, Sahar can send regular emails with photographs illustrating the progress of the headpiece.
• Payment by card via Paypal online. At the studio we take cash or card. There is a 2.75% transaction fee for cards.
Ordering online:
Sahar hand makes each piece. Some pieces are available ready to ship, and others need to be made up especially for you. Details and colours can be altered, if you have a specific fabric sample you would like the headpiece to match, please post along with your details to Sahar Freemantle, 145 Well street, London, E9 7LJ.
Once your order is received we will send you a confirmation email, acknowledging the details of your order and with an estimated dispatch date.
Colours/descriptions
Every care has been taken to ensure that descriptions are correct, and colours are as close a representation as possible. However, every computer screen will display colour differently; we cannot guarantee that the colour of the item will be an exact match as seen on your screen.

In a hurry?
If you have an important deadline in mind for receiving the goods (if your purchase is a birthday present for example), please email us giving details of the product you wish to purchase and when you’d like to receive it before placing the order, so we can advise on availability. We will always try our best to accommodate such requests!
Exchanges and returns
UglyLovely will allow a maximum of two exchanges per person. All delivery charges including postage out and returns will be covered by the client.
We will email you to notify when the replacement item has been sent. If the replacement item is a lower price to the original item, the difference will be refunded; if the replacement item is a higher price, the difference will be charged to you.

Duties and taxes
You are responsible for any duties and/or taxes levied at the point of entry into the destination country.
Trade Descriptions Act
All products are individually hand-made and whilst we make every effort to maintain consistency in size, form and colour some small variations may occur. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest possible standard of work and finish.
Intellectual Property
We take our intellectual property rights very seriously. All the products in our online shop, and on our main website, are protected by copyright, design rights and/or trademark rights as applicable. Please be aware that it is illegal to copy designs, or to assist other people in copying them.
Privacy policy
Your personal data is treated with complete confidentiality, and is used to communicate with you, and to inform you of new collections and products, special offers and events.
We will never sell or distribute your information to third parties.
Under the data protection 1998 you are entitled to ask us for details on any personal information that we hold on you. Please email or write to us to obtain this information.
